One of the things I love most about family photography is seeing how little personalities shine through. At this sunrise shoot with a family of three, their two-year-old son was one of the smiliest toddlers I’ve ever photographed. From the very start, he was full of laughter and joy, and it was impossible not to smile along with him.

It’s these little moments — the giggles, the playfulness, the way he lit up the morning — that make family portraits so meaningful. What made it even more special was the sweet detail of him riding in a mini car just like his dad’s. It’s the kind of memory that will always bring a smile when they look back years from now.

Family portraits with toddlers are never about perfection. They’re about celebrating the energy, the love, and the stage of life a family is in right now. And for this session, it was clear — their mornings are filled with joy, laughter, and lots of smiles.

This is why I love doing sunrise family photography in Singapore. The light is beautiful, but even more beautiful is capturing a family just as they are — happy, connected, and full of love.
