Horse-Themed Birthday Party in Singapore: Sangwon Turns 3 at the Riding Centre
Walking into Sangwon’s 3rd birthday party felt like stepping into a little racetrack carnival — full of colour, laughter, and the excitement of horses. The celebration was held at the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) centre in Singapore, a unique venue that gave the children a chance to ride, feel, and feed real small horses. As a photographer, capturing all those candid smiles and wide-eyed moments was such a joy.
The setup was beautifully elaborate. Chairs were decorated with colourful jockey silks, tables covered in checkered cloths, and signboards pointed the way to activities like horse rides, feeding sessions, bouncy castles, and even a burger bar. Every detail carried through the equestrian theme, making it a delight for guests and a dream to photograph.
The children wasted no time diving into the fun. Some hopped on toy horses, others played games, and the bravest of them saddled up on the small horses, guided by patient handlers. Watching Sangwon and his friends ride with wide-eyed wonder was unforgettable. They also got the chance to gently pat the horses, creating sweet moments of connection.
And then came the cake — a showstopper designed with racing details, trophies, and a horse and jockey topper. When it was time to blow out the candles, Sangwon’s excitement lit up the whole space.
From the colourful piñata to the horse feeding, from the laughter of the kids to the thoughtful details in every corner, this celebration was more than a party. It was an experience, joyfully crafted and beautifully lived.
Happy birthday, Sangwon — may your days always be as spirited as this horse-filled celebration!
